These costumes were created for the live production of Copernicus, with the help of a team of twenty volunteers made up of students and professional artists. Using a technique that she developed, Ms. Jansen was the first artist to transfer digital photographs to fabric in order to create three dimensional objects. The production ran at the Annenberg theater in Philadelphia. The costumes were exhibited as wearable art/costumes at the Philadelphia Museum of Art, The Painted Bride, and the Mitchner Museum.
